HLOM Exhibit Opening, “Heavenly Traditions & Holy Matrimony: Weddings Through Time”

We often think of weddings and the traditions we know today, as acts that have been around for centuries. However, it is quite the opposite.
The traditions that hold weddings at the heart of today are just a few decades old. However, most have developed within the last century. Traditions have also evolved and taken on new meanings than when created. “Heavenly Traditions and Holy Matrimony: Weddings Through Time,” put those evolved and new traditions in focus.
This exhibit will take you through decades of wedding dress styles, and traditions. Come to the opening on May 16th, at 6 pm to enjoy a free reception with food provided by Terry Hills!
