DESCRIPTION:Join us on Wednesday\, July 21st from 7 pm to 8:30 pm as the Holland Land Office Museum welcomes local musician Steve Kruppner as he plays an outdoor concert at the museum. The concert will feature various genres of songs that can be summed up as “Americana”. The concert will be outdoors weather permitting. If you would like to bring your own chair you are welcome\, but seating will be provided. In case of inclement weather\, the concert will be held inside. Admission is $5 or $4 for museum members. SUMMARY:2021 History Heroes Summer Program: Fun in the Roaring '20s
DESCRIPTION:The History Heroes Summer Program will be running Saturdays at the Holland Land Office Museum from 11 am- 3 pm. The dates are: July 24\, August 14\, August 21\, August 28 and September 4. The theme is “Fun in the Roaring 20s”\, learning about different aspects of life 100 years ago. Join us to learn about the 1920s! Dance\, sing\, read\, play\, create\, explore\, and learn some history. The program will explore many facets of the era through many creative and interactive activities. and includes daily local walking field trips around Batavia.\nThe program is open to children 7-12 and is limited to 16 participants each day. Registration is available for each individual day or for all five. Admission is $10 per child with discounts for multiple children and museum members. The program includes a field trip on September 4th to the Arcade & Attica Railroad\, which has a $20 admission.\nRegistration forms can be found below\, at the museum’s website www.hollandlandoffice.com\, or by contacting the museum at 585-343-4727. Masks and social distancing requirements are required. Lunches are available for participants.\nThis project is made possible with funds from the Decentralization Program\, a regrant program of the New York State council on the Arts with the support of Governor Andrew Cuomo and the New York State Legislature and administered by Go ART!

Conable\, a Republican member of the House from upstate New York\, wrote perceptively about Presidents Nixon\, Ford\, H. W. Bush\, and the leading congressional figures of the day. For seventeen years he wrote about the big events as well as daily political life in an era that included Vietnam\, Watergate\, political realignment\, and major changes in entitlements and taxes\, where he played a key role.”\nAdmission is $3 per person or $2 for museum members.
