But whatever you call William Tecumseh Sherman\, you must admit he is utterly fascinating.”\n“Man on Fire: William Tecumseh Sherman in the Civil War tells the story of a man who found himself in war- and that\, in turn\, secured him a place in history. Condemned for his barbarousness or hailed for his heroics\, the life of this peculiar general is nonetheless compelling-and thoroughly American.” \n“This project is made possible with funds from the Statewide Community Regrant Program\, a regrant program of the New York State Council of the Arts with the support of the office of the Governor and New York State Legislature and administered by GO ART!”
