DESCRIPTION:“Heavenly Traditions and Holy Matrimony: Weddings Through Time\,” is an exhibit that will take you through decades of wedding dress styles\, and traditions. This exhibit will show how one of the most sacred events for a couple has changed through decades and even centuries. Various influences and societal changes are at the heart of the traditions and events that hold weddings today. Come view items from the 19th century through the 20th century\, that represent different eras and how we have ended up with the weddings that we know today. DESCRIPTION:Due to popular demand for varying times in our presentation/program times! HLOM staff with be giving presentations every second Saturday of the month from 11 am to 12pm!\nHolland Land Office Museum curator\, Tyler Angora\, will be presenting on Saturday\, August 10 at 11 am on “19th-Century Weddings\,” which he did a few months ago to kick off the wedding exhibit! However\, due to many requests\, he will be doing it again!\nYou will learn about 19th-century wedding customs\, clothing\, and so much more!\nAdmission: $5 for non-members and $3 for members!
