Alicia Primer

Visiting my home museum.  The family lived and died on the railroad. Little Helen’s future husband and my grandfather, Edgar Hackett, died in a railroad accident blocks from his Batavia home in 1951.  All are buried at St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Batavia.

Railroad photo taken at Bloomfield and labeled on back by my great-grandmother.  Dapper mustachioed man in black derby hat was my great grandfather, Joseph Neville.

Family portrait shows him with wife Margaret Powers, baby Joseph, little William (future District Attorney of Genesee County), and my grandmother Helen.

Pair of portraits are Margaret and Joseph, my maternal great grandparents.
